Eclectic Allure

It is my graduation project. in this project we had to develop a bed room collection for upper middle to higher class family. The design will be practical executing and aesthetically pleasing. The collecting includes a bed sheet, Dohar, a pair of sham, a pair of curtain and cushions. The techniques used will be hand block printing.

Client Profile My clients are generally between the age of 28 to above and they all belongs from upper middle to higher class, who want rich and elegant look for their home collection.

Initially I researched on several themes Samode palace, Borujerdi House, Vohra house of Siddhpur, palace of Monserrate and later on I chose Palace of Monserrate as my final inspiration Palace of Monserrate: The Sintra region in Portugal is known for its beauty Sintra is one of the most beautiful architectural and landscape Romantic creations in Portugal. Eclectic Allure (The feel of Elegance)

The theme chosen by me was an eclectic allure, eclectic means the combination of various kind of theories and art movement whether allure demonstrate the beauty. The palace of Monserrat in which various art movement and theories included by the help of those art movement a different look was placed on the palace for welcoming visitors. The palace got rich, elegant and luxurious look And so as I tried to give a rich elegant look to my collection. I marked upper middle to higher class as my clients which demands traditional, rich and elegant look
